Dr. Marina Gafanovich performs pre-employment physicals on the Upper East Side, runs the required blood tests and completes your forms.

If a titer shows you are not immune, or your records are missing, we can give the vaccine in the office: MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, Tdap and seasonal flu.

A titer is a blood test that measures antibodies to a disease. It shows whether you are immune, for example after vaccination or past infection, so you don’t need to repeat vaccines you already had.
QuantiFERON is a blood test done in one visit, with no need to come back to have it read. It is also not affected by a past BCG vaccine, which many people born outside the U.S. have received.
We give a booster or a new vaccine series, depending on the disease. Some employers accept proof that the series has started.
Usually within a week, once all results are back. If you have a tight deadline, tell us when you book.
