When you feel unwell, you want to see a doctor you trust — not wait hours in an urgent care. Our Upper East Side office keeps time for sick visits, and in many cases you can be seen the same day you call.
Respiratory infections Colds, flu, COVID-19, bronchitis, cough and shortness of breath. We check your lungs and oxygen level and decide whether you need antibiotics — or simply rest and symptom relief.
Sinus infections Facial pressure, congestion and headache that last more than 10 days or keep getting worse.
Ear, nose and throat Sore throat and strep throat, ear pain and ear infections, earwax blockage, nosebleeds.
Pink eye (conjunctivitis) Red, itchy or sticky eyes. We tell you whether it is viral, bacterial or allergic, and treat it.
Urinary tract infections Burning, frequent urination or lower belly pain. Urinalysis is done in the office.
Stomach and digestive problems Abdominal pain, heartburn and GERD, nausea, diarrhea. On-site H. pylori breath test for ulcer-related symptoms.
Headaches and migraines New headaches, worsening migraines, or headaches that don’t respond to usual treatment.
Back, neck and joint pain Acute back pain, muscle strains, joint pain and flare-ups of arthritis.
Chest pain If you have chest pain, an ECG can be done in the office. Severe chest pain, pain spreading to the arm or jaw, or chest pain with shortness of breath is an emergency — call 911.
Skin problems Rashes, hives, insect bites, minor burns and skin infections. See Skin Conditions.

Yes, sick visits are covered by most plans, with your usual copay or deductible.
No. New patients are welcome for sick visits.
If you have a cough, sore throat, sinus symptoms or pink eye, telehealth may be enough. If you need an exam, a test or have trouble breathing, come in person.
